In May 2015, I traveled to the Azule artists’ retreat in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina to record the Troublesome Gap Music Festival and composer’s workshop. The mountains and Azule were a beautiful and idyllic setting for the workshop, hosted by the Achaea Tree Ensemble. I can’t wait to go back for the next meeting.
